Politics as Repeated Phenomena

Governments, if the endure, always tend increasingly toward aristocratic forms. No government in history has been known to evade this pattern. Skype makes chats and user data more available to police

Seems my suspicions were true, since Microsoft purchased Skype they are working with authorities to allow them easier monitoring of Skype calls etc. So what are the alternatives?

Voxox looks as if it's one of the best alternatives. Not only does it offer almost everything that Skype offers plus some useful features Skype doesn't offer, but, it unifies all your different communication clients and social networks in one client. To list all it's features would be to almost reproduce its web site so pop along to Voxox and check it out.

The Face Of Corporate Fascism - We Want Your Facebook Password - Coming Now To UK

Employers are now begining to demand your Facebook Login details at job interviews if they cannot find your public profile on Facebook. Links to some stories below. Two potential ways of dealing with it, tell them you don't do Facebook due to it's privacy issues, but, this is no good if they have found you on Facebook, but, can't access your profile or pages due to it being private. The other way is fistly not to create an account under your true name or at least deny it is you and open a second account under an alias putting minimal info in it and then never using it and giving them those login details.

I'm putting my neck out here, but, anyone with personal experience of this happening in UK please post details here.

He LOOKED AT ME with wide opened eyes in shock. He said i hope you do have a license as he smiled, Well i had spoke in a manner like it was the normal thing to here or say. I said well yes my person has a license but i don't. He said "your losing me", as he smiled.
